Comments from theowneron this wonderful boat: After owning this boat for 13 years and travelling up the east coast through New York City and the Erie Canal in to northern Canada, south through Chicago, down the Mississippi to the Kentucky Lakes, through Mobile Alabama back to Florida and many years living in the Bahamas, I believe that this yacht is the perfect liveaboard boat. I’ll start in the stern and go forward. The stern has 4 fishing rod holders which have caught many many suppers cruising at 8 knots. The TNT lift ( with remote control) is perfect for carrying the dinghy and as well as at anchor kids and adults love to use it for easy access into and out of the water. We’ve even had chairs on it while using the remote control to lift us in and out of the water on hot days. It’s also perfect for snorkeling, scuba diving and kayaking etc. When your leaving the boat on the dinghy you make sure the dinghy is untied and get in, then using the remote control you lower the dinghy with you two in it and float far enough away that when you use the remote to raise the lift you won’t hit it. When you return you get close enough to lower the lift using the remote control and gently park the dinghy above the lift with the motor raised, using the remote control will lift you up out of the water. Then you unload and raise the dinghy up, this is so fantastic on grocery day or when you have little kids etc. When the dinghy is on and your going to travel I have straps on each side hooking the lift up to the cleats on each side of the boat for extra safety. In the cockpit you’ll also see an anchor which is used as a stern anchor from time to time. There’s a nice BBQ Grill that sets in the fishing rod holder and a propane tank with hose under the seat. There is a light just above the BBQ for after dark. There’s also a fish cleaning board up top which is brought down to clean fish. There is also an outsidelocker and a pull switch to operate the underwater lights. Also there’s a salt water and fresh water hoses for cleaning and rinsing the stern area as well as an outdoor shower with both hot and cold fresh water, it’s great when needing to rinse off or cool off. In the stbd stern hatch is the water maker, the large hot water tank and An electric power cord hose reel. Both the watermaker and the hot water tank are recently new. The salon is very spacious and can seat a lot of friends and family, it easily seats 6 for dinner at the one table using 2 fold up chairs. Both side windows have very large sliding windows that open for awesome airflow and the rear sliding window opens and is protected from rain. Behind the curved seats in each corner are the shut offs for the fuel to the engines. Behind the seat by the back sliding door stbd side is the electronics for the sat phone and high speed internet. On the port side is the control button to transfer fuel from one fuel tank to the other, I had this installed because my wife and I would spend weeks at a time out on anchor in the Keys and mostly in the Bahamas. The generator uses fuel out of the port fuel tank and over a long period of time I would transfer fuel from the stbd tank to the port tank when we were getting low. We would run the generator every morning while cooking breakfast and we would make water, heat the hot water and the batteries would charge as well, the watermaker will make about 30 gals/hour so all your guests and you can afford to have nice showers etc. While underway the inverter is powerful enough to operate the big toaster oven we used and or other things like a large electric frying pan, coffee maker etc. We liked the toaster oven but you can install and use a microwave if you would prefer. While underway all the house and start batteries will fully charge, the water in the hot water tank will heat and stay hot for days. There’s a small tv in the ceilingand abigger one in the corner of the salon. There’s is sat tv in one domebut we could receive many HD signals over the air in the USA and of course we have a stereo which also had sat music that was used all over including the southern Bahamas. There’s lots of storage on both sides of the salon and a cabinet under the stairs going up to the pilothouse, in this cabinet are electronic switches, some breakers and new gauges showing the condition of the 2 start batteries and the generator start battery. Also you see an ice maker and a washer/dryer combo. The galley is in a perfect place to have an excellent view with lots of airflow through the big opening windows or the adjustable fans. The island wraps around to help hold you in bad weather as well makes all things convenient. There are two fridges in the galley, an ice maker port side and a fridge/freezer that keeps the beer a perfect temperature in the stbd hull. The main stateroom has a closet, lots of space on each side of the bed and large storage under the bed. It has awesome airflow with the two hatches as well as personal fans and lights, with windows on both sides of the bedroom when you wake up at anchor you can see exactly where you are. The shower is a great size as well. The Vacuflush toilets are absolutely fantastic! We used "Cottonelle" and the system worked perfect. Also this system uses fresh water so there’s no fowl saltwater and urine smells. Portside bunk beds have a large storage closet up front and one under the lower bunk. There is a large hatch above as well as port holes for lots of ventilation and personal lights and fans for each bed. There’s also a head and shower as well as a sink and another closet just outside the bunk bed door. Starboard side has a desk and a private room with a queen bed, closet, head, shower, sink, large hatch and port holes for ventilation. Each person also has a personal light and fan. It’s absolutely amazing to me and to every other person who enters this boat that there is just so much room in this boat, the layout is just perfect. The pilothouse is so awesome we have travelled lots in bad weather using the pilothouse. Lots of room for you and others and the visibility is fantastic out front and side to side, also you can see out the back as well because of this superior design. The side door is great access to the bow and ventilation comes from the door and the side opening window. The newer Garmin electronics give you radar, sonar, chart plotting, autopilot, etc, in the pilothouse as well as on the fly bridge. (You can also hook up cameras that will display on this chart plotter) The Fly bridge is the perfect place to operate this boat, the visibility is perfect out front and side to side. You can even see the stbd aft of the boat at the waterline through the opening of the aft staircase to the cockpit. Behind the fly bridge is a nice perch to sit and relax, this is also the place where you would use the davit crane to lift and set the dinghy if you wanted. I only put it up here if I was carrying the saddle for it and I was worried about leaving my dinghy down below while I was away. My wife and I thought we would have some nice furniture built for up top but never did get to it. You will see a short antenna on the fly bridge, it picks up wifi signals far away and also makes a wifi for all on the boat. The bow of the boat is setup to sit and relax and also its setup nicely to clean the boat. I have a salt water hose for cleaning and also a very long fresh water hose for cleaning and rinsing the salt off the entire topside of the boat. Attached is the absolute best anchor I could get as well as extra anchors in the bow compartments. You will also find lots of lines when it’s time to tie up at a dock etc. Operating this boat is so easy with the propellers being so far apart it’s easy to maneuver. My wife and I have tied up to many many docks working together. With this boat I’m able to bring the bow of the boat easily and slowly up to the dock so my wife could cast a line or tie a line etc all the while being very calm. While underway this boat is very smooth and will cruise nicely at hull speed which is 9.5 kts, or for the best economy and speed combination at 17 kts. The fly bridgevery quiet. It’s so quiet in fact that when we’re travelling we fish and I use a clothesline clip to clip onto the fishing rods and a string tied up to the fly bridge railing, when a fish hits you can hear the snap and you know it’s fun time. It’s so perfect! I do have electronic versions of manuals for all kinds of equipment on this boat which I’ll be happy to forward to the new owners if they want them. There is so much more I know about this boat and am willing to help out the new owners when and/or if they so desire, I’ll give them my cell number. Anyway, I’m selling because my wife and I have decide that this part of our life is now over and someone else could now enjoy this magnificent boat. We’ve had so many wonderful times and experiences with our kids, grandkids, family members and friends on this boat, we’ve met some of our new best friends while travelling on this boat and continue that friendship today. Our pictures and our discussions with others will forever keep those memories alive.
